Removing intimate images
If a listing on Selby shows an intimate image of you that was shared without your consent, ask us to remove it. You can also ask for someone you’re authorized to act for.
What Selby does
- A person at Selby reads your request.
- We remove the listings it names, and copies of the image we find on Selby, within 48 hours.
- We tell the seller only that a person in its photos asked us to. We never share your name or contact details with them.
- We email you when it’s done, or if something in your request is missing.
What your request includes
The TAKE IT DOWN Act asks for these, and the form has a place for each:
- your signature (typing your full name works);
- the Selby listings with the image, with their links, and which photos if you can say;
- a short statement that you believe in good faith the image was shared without consent, with anything that helps us see it;
- how to reach you: your email, and a phone number if you like.
